We stayed for a reading retreat and the location was perfect- the house has plenty of ideal reading corners for a lovely Positive: Beautiful And spacious

Overall stay was absolutely what the family needed Positive: Spaciousness Space to setup a kids play area Negative: Kitchen floor could have been cleaner Outside benches quite dirty Hot tub tucked away in one corner with outside entrance

Ideal location and amazing house just do your research on dates Positive: Fantastic property, so much space and communal areas, really nice outdoor area for groups to gather. Negative: Internet access is poor due to the old style property and difficulty of signal throughout the house. Unfortunately we picked the weekend before Appleby horse fair so most of the town was closed due to issues in previous years.

Lovely property and would stay again. X Positive: Very clean and tidy. Nice little touches like chocolates and good products in the bathrooms. Negative: One bed was too soft. Outside was a little untidy and no cushions on the outside sofas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend xx Positive: A beautiful house situated in the heart of Kirby Stephen. Plenty of spacious rooms to enjoy with a beautiful garden and games room including a hot tub. We particularly liked the under floor heating in the kitchen too which made the room really cosy x Negative: I don’t think we could work the heating out very well as most of the rooms were quite cold apart from the kitchen and the bedroom above the kitchen. We also struggled a bit with the WiFi. It was a shame the dishwasher wasn’t working too as we were a big party so lots of washing up for us !
